We were forged out of a passion to provide the people of Yorkshire with a high quality, honest and cost efficient service that keeps attention to detail at the heart of everything we do. Having witnessed too many poor installations throughout our careers, we decided to do something about it, only using good quality materials, sourced from local reputable suppliers.
With a combined experience of over 40 years, working in all areas of the plumbing and heating industry, we have the knowledge and confidence to give you the service you deserve.
Meet The Team
Anthony Veverka
Director & Heating Engineer
Anthony has been in the plumbing and heating industry for over 23 years, starting his career in Coventry working alongside his uncle, where he first learned the trade from the ground up. After moving to Leeds, he joined British Gas as an engineer and spent a decade honing his skills before taking the leap to start Parkstone Heating — and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, Anthony leads the business with the same hands‑on approach he’s had since day one, combining experience, high standards and a genuine pride in keeping homes warm and running smoothly.
Outside of work, he’s a dedicated Manchester United fan and can often be found travelling to watch them play (for better or worse). He’s also a keen marathon runner, having completed races in Sydney, Paris, London and Leeds. But nothing tops the joy of watching his kids play for their football teams — that’s where he’s happiest.
Ian Kendall
Director & Heating Engineer
With 26 years in the plumbing and heating industry, Ian brings deep technical expertise and a steady hand to Parkstone. He began his career in Sheffield, completing his apprenticeship while working on large pub and hotel refurbishments across the country. Since then, he’s gained experience across every corner of the industry — from new‑build developments to social housing regeneration — before spending a decade as an engineer with British Gas. Today, he’s the co‑owner of Parkstone Heating, overseeing installations, standards, and the continued growth of the business.
Ian’s known for his calm, methodical approach, his high standards on every job, and his ability to support both customers and engineers with clear, practical guidance.
Outside of work, Ian is usually up before sunrise and in the gym, or heading for the hills in his campervan. He’s happiest in the mountains — hiking or running the fells in all weathers with his partner and their dogs. Parkstone proudly sponsor his daughter’s U14s football team, and you’ll often find Ian on the sidelines, cheering them on.
Ben Thornton
Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Ben joined Parkstone as an apprentice in 2021, splitting his time between college and hands‑on training alongside Ian and Anthony. Since completing his NVQ in Plumbing and his ACS Gas Safety qualifications, he’s gone from strength to strength. Ben is now a highly capable engineer and a valued member of the team — customers are always pleased to see him arrive when something needs sorting.
He’s known for his positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the calm, friendly way he approaches every job.
Outside of work, Ben is a loyal Bradford City supporter (yes, they really do have fans), and he’s been playing football himself since he was young. He also keeps up a regular gym routine and enjoys staying active.
Chris Jackson
Tiler & Plasterer
Chris has been working with Parkstone since 2017, when we first crossed paths while completing a bathroom for a close friend. After seeing the quality of his tiling and plastering first‑hand, we knew instantly he was the missing piece in our installation team. We’ve worked together ever since, delivering bathrooms finished to an exceptional standard.
His attention to detail is second to none, and his work ethic matches it — Chris is the person you want on a job when precision really matters.
Based in Castleford, Chris loves getting out on his motorbike whenever the weather gives him half a chance. He’s also a big fan of the outdoors, often heading into the hills for a hike with his wife and their dog.
Charlie Willis
Admin
Charlie is the newest member of the Parkstone team, joining in December 2025. His main role is handling all incoming calls and messages, helping customers get booked in quickly and smoothly. He’s settled in brilliantly, bringing a calm, friendly presence to the front end of the business — and he’s already earning mentions in our Google reviews for his helpful approach.
As the first point of contact for many customers, Charlie keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes and makes sure every job starts off on the right foot
